Hello, We are Robert & Shasta. Thank you for taking the time to read about us. We recognize that no one ever really understands how hard it is to make a decision…until something happens where you have to. Sometimes you have support of family and friends, but more often than not, you have to make the decision by yourself. Choosing adoption is a difficult decision but one filled with many blessings both for yourself and for the adoptive parents. The one thing that bonds everyone together is the love for a beautiful child.
Robert and I have been married for almost 10 years and together a total of 12 years. We were lucky to have found each other when we did because the road(s) we were on were a little wild and crazy. But quickly after meeting one another, we started building a relationship that was formed with trust, compromise, and loyalty. Together we have worked to sustain our relationship by continually adding love and hope. After spending so many wonderful years together, we realized it was the right time to start our family. We were now, more than ever, prepared to bring a child into our family that offers devotion, commitment, stability, and laughter…
Who we are: Robert has been with the same employer for 10 years and works as a payroll support specialist. I have been working as an insurance program coordinator for an investment firm. We both enjoy our jobs and the people we work with. Sports are a passion in our lives. We both love football (Go Broncos!), lacrosse, and soccer…all sports we hope to share with our little one someday. We also enjoy snowboarding, skiing, dirt bike riding, hunting, fishing, archery, horseback riding, fishing, and camping. You can always find us outdoors doing something active. But our biggest passion is taking care of our ranch. We are fortunate enough to live on a ranch where we raise horses, goats, pigs, turkeys, chickens, ducks, and rabbits. Of course, we can’t forget about our (4) amazing dogs and (8) furry cats! We are so blessed in this life and are longing for the day to share it with an adoptive child.
Our plan has always been to have a house full of kids and be able to watch them grow and play sports, or go to dance recitals, school plays, swim lessons, things like that. But we soon found that it was not in God’s plan for us to have our own children. We know his plan is for us to open our hearts and share our love with someone else’s child. His plan is for us to help a mother who is in need and having to make probably the most difficult decision in her life. Please know that we would love to be a part of your life and help give your baby a loving home that will always be filled with love and laughter. . Thank you for reading this and watching our video.
