Sarah has been in the field of social work since 2005. After working for a teen parenting program and a county department of human services, she joined Adoption Options in 2008 as an adoptive family caseworker. Since 2015 she has worked as the primary trainer for the Infant Adoption Program and is also involved in content development for ARISE Adoption Academy. Sarah holds a Bachelor of the Arts in sociology from the University of Puget Sound, a master’s degree in social work from the University of Denver and has been a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Colorado since 2009.

Sarah grew up in Casper, Wyoming as the oldest of five children. Although her family is spread across the country, they enjoy getting together as often as possible. Sarah now lives in the Denver area with her husband, son and daughter. In her free time, Sarah enjoys reading, cooking and watching mystery shows.

Sarah has been a volunteer at the Denver Public Library for 15 years!
