  • Adoptive Family Caseworker
  • she | her | hers

Katie started at Adoption Options in 2018 as a Master of Social Work intern and joined the staff in 2019. She received her Bachelor of Science in Health Management and Policy with a minor in Theological Studies from Saint Louis University before working in healthcare information technology in the Denver area. Katie decided that social work would better allow her to connect with families, and she completed her Master of Social Work degree at the University of Denver in 2019. Her graduate studies focused on family systems and she enjoys working with families of all backgrounds as an adoptive family caseworker.

Katie grew up throughout the Midwest, spending time in St. Louis, Kansas City, Tulsa and Memphis before landing in Denver. She is a major foodie and can often be found trying new restaurants or visiting old favorites. She loves spending time with family and friends, being out in nature, playing fantasy football and reading as much as she can.

Katie’s favorite memories are animal-related adventures. She has snorkeled with sharks, cozied up to wolves, ridden camels and gone swimming with alligators!
